Before rinsing, cleaning or handle any jewellery from Icelandic Jewellery with any kind of chemicals or even clean water, make sure to study what kind of materials are in your jewellery from IJ.

Do not spray on perfume or use any other spray while wearing your plated jewellery so that chemicals do not come in contact with your jewellery´s materials. It’s good to wait until your body lotion or body cream has been absorbed by your skin before you wear your plated jewellery.

Sweat can effect your jewellery so make sure you to remove your jewellery when you exercise or go swimming.

To avoid scratches, wrap your jewellery in a soft cloth after cleaning or keep it in a jewellery box separate from other types of jewellery you have.
